On the lawn

On the lawn at the Grey Havens Inn.
In the kitchen

After dinner at the Robinhood Free Meetinghouse.
Penobscot Narrows Bridge

At the top, there is a terrific observatory.
Two Bridges

To the left, the Waldo-Hancock Bridge. To the right, the new Penobscot Narrows Bridge.
Flume Bridge

This covered bridge crosses the Pemigewasset River in Franconia Notch State Park.
Looking back

Looking back as we get closer to the summit of Mount Washington. We never made at all the way to the top; when the winds at the summit exceed 70 mph, the trains stop short of the summit. A bit down the track, you can see Jacob’s Ladder.
Jacob's Ladder

A long trestle near the top of the railway.
