Rigging "Va Pensiero"
Rigging Va Pensiero prior to launch at Brooklin Boatyard, on a foggy day last July. Va Pensiero is a 49 foot sloop designed by Bob Stephens and built at Brooklin Boat Yard.

the composition here is so balanced - i really like the way this boat stands proud and silhouetted against the sky, slightly leaning towards the building. i also love that there is lots going on in the image, but that it still exudes a calm, a tranquility. wonderful.
