Brooklin, Maine is home of boat builders, WoodenBoat, and lots of nice folks. E.B. White and his wife Katherine lived in Brooklin, and his son (and famed boat designer) Joel White ran Brooklin Boat Yard until his death in 1997. Joel's son Steve runs the yard now.
